Every charge you might see on VeriPay, what it's for, and who it goes to. VeriPay earns from one fee only — and never marks up anyone else's.
VeriPay Service Fee
₦50 every Monday and ₦50 every Saturday, charged at approximately 3:00 AM Nigeria time. That’s ₦100 a week when both charges apply.
It applies to active users only. You’re an active user if you’ve completed at least one successful transaction in the preceding 30 days.
Your first 7 days are free of the Service Fee.

Transfer fees
Transfer fees are charged by Flutterwave, the payment provider that moves your money. VeriPay adds no markup.

Statutory stamp duty
₦50 on qualifying transfers of ₦10,000 and above. This is a government charge, not a VeriPay fee, and VeriPay adds no markup.
Other services
Airtime and data, electricity, cable and internet, crypto, and other third-party services may carry applicable third-party charges. These are disclosed before confirmation where the service supports it.

If your balance can’t cover a fee
If a Service Fee can’t be collected, VeriPay does not report it as collected. It may remain outstanding under your account terms, and your transaction history shows its real status.
When fees change
Fees may change because of third-party pricing, tax or statutory changes, infrastructure costs, or new services. Material changes to what you pay VeriPay directly will be communicated to you. Statutory charges can change independently of VeriPay.
Questions about fees
The VeriPay Service Fee is the only charge VeriPay itself earns. Transfer fees are charged by Flutterwave, statutory stamp duty is a government charge, and other services may carry third-party charges. VeriPay adds no markup to any of those.
