Freeze or unfreeze an account.

This page works without your phone. Freezing stops all transfers, bill payments and withdrawals immediately. It does not delete your account or your history.

To freeze you need
Your WhatsApp number or linked email, and your PIN.
To unfreeze you need
The same identifier, your BVN, and your PIN.

Unfreezing asks for more

Freezing is intentionally easy and unfreezing is intentionally harder. Stopping a compromised account should take seconds; restarting one should take proof. That is why unfreezing asks for your BVN on top of the identifier and PIN used to freeze. Switch the form above to Unfreeze to do it.
